Grilled BBQ Pulled Pork & Peach Pizza is one of those bites of food bliss you just can’t stop eating! All of the flavors combine beautifully!
I’m a pizza enthusiast. Whether I’m ordering from our favorite local spot or using a reliable homemade pizza dough recipe, pizza is a regular at our table. A few months ago I had the idea to combine pulled pork and fresh peaches on a grilled pizza. It sounded perfect to Mike and me, and after trying it once we were hooked. This pizza comes together quickly and highlights sweet, smoky, and savory flavors in every bite.

To save time I make slow cooker BBQ pulled pork a day or two ahead, but store-bought pulled pork works fine too. The same goes for dough: homemade or store-bought pizza dough will work. For summer cooking I especially love grilling the dough—it’s fast, gives great char and flavor, and might keep me from using the oven for pizza ever again.

Peaches are a summer staple and they pair surprisingly well with rich pork and tangy BBQ sauce. We featured peaches in a bunch of summer recipes in our feast + devour cooking group — if you have peaches in season, try adding them to savory dishes like this pizza as well as desserts and drinks.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 yellow peaches pitted and sliced
- Pizza dough for one 12″ pizza store-bought or homemade
- ¼ cup your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup BBQ pulled pork store-bought or homemade
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh cilantro rough chopped
Instructions
-
Heat your grill to medium-high. Brush the grill grates with a little oil to prevent sticking.
-
Grill peach slices 2–3 minutes per side, until tender with nice char marks. Remove and set aside.
-
Roll out pizza dough to fit your grill. Rectangular shapes work fine if that fits your grill better.
-
Place the dough on the hot grill and cook 2–3 minutes on the first side until set with grill marks. Carefully flip and cook the second side 3–4 minutes.
-
While the second side cooks, brush the top with BBQ sauce almost to the edges. Sprinkle with mozzarella, add dollops of pulled pork, top with cheddar, then arrange the grilled peach slices over the pizza.
-
Cook until the bottom is set, has grill marks, and the cheese is melted.
-
Remove the pizza from the grill to a cutting board or baking sheet.
-
Scatter with chopped cilantro, slice, and serve immediately.
