2022 was a delicious year at Cook Eat World. A move overseas mid-year expanded the range of flavours and inspiration, and our readers enjoyed many new international dishes. Here are the top 10 international recipes from 2022, selected for popularity, frequency of cooking, and the personal favourites that stood out.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited Cook Eat World this year. Traffic has grown significantly, and the support and kind messages have been appreciated. Throughout 2022 I shared recipes inspired by many countries, including Mexico, Italy, France, Greece, Laos, China, Malaysia, India, Turkey, Sri Lanka and Morocco. From those posts, the list below highlights the recipes that resonated most with readers or that I kept returning to in my own kitchen.
What’s next for Cook Eat World?
The move abroad during 2022 opened up new culinary possibilities. Time spent in Italy, France and Belgium provided fresh inspiration that will be turning into recipes throughout 2023. Expect more pasta dishes, a memorable French lentil preparation, and a hearty Belgian beef stew, among others. I’m still traveling while writing this, but once settled I’ll be testing and sharing these new recipes.
