Sunday – Football season kicked off and we began our spicy series with Spicy Tortilla Chips. A definite crowd-pleaser.
Monday – We tested the New York Times Chocolate Chip Cookies. Are they everything everyone claims?
Tuesday – A playful Cookie Monster tune, my favorite Shabby Apple dress of the week, and the clever egg yolk-in-a-plastic-bottle trick. Tuesday Things and Links offered a mix of fun and useful tips.
Wednesday – Our third Blue Ribbon Challenge continued with a refreshing Granita recipe—perfect for the lingering heat of late summer.
Thursday – We made elegant doughnuts from scratch and baked them for a lighter twist: Doughnuts a l’Orange.
Friday – Doughnut holes were fried and rolled in sugar. Irresistible little treats.
