After years of improvising, I finally developed a clear, reliable recipe that delivers a rich, chocolatey sauce every time. I think you’ll love how easy and versatile it is.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Dark Chocolate
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Golden Syrup
  • ¼ Cup Extra Milk, (optional)

Instructions

  • Place the chopped chocolate, milk and golden syrup in a small pot over medium heat.
  • Stir gently and continuously until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  • Remove from the heat and serve warm, or let it cool before storing.
  • Keep leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before serving.

Notes

If you prefer a thinner sauce, add extra milk a little at a time. Use milk chocolate or a mix of milk and dark chocolate for a sweeter result. Scale the recipe up or down to make larger or smaller batches.
